Suggested Itinerary
Day 01: Interlaken
On arrival in Switzerland - at either Zurich or Geneva airports, transfer directly by train to Interlaken- a mecca for visitors with its spectacular scenery. Day at leisure to explore Interlaken's Hoheweg- an inviting 700- meter long boulevard with hotels, cosy cafes, fashion boutiques, watch and jewellery stores. Overnight in Interlaken.
Day 02: Interlaken - Jungfraujoch
This morning depart on an excursion from Interlaken up to Jungfraujoch- Top of Europe. This memorable train trip from Interlaken Ost takes you via Lauterbrunnen and Wengen to the Kleine Scheidegg, at the foot of the famous Eiger North Wall. Then ascend by the Jungfrau Railway to the magnificent mountain world of eternal ice and snow, Jungfraujoch-at 3454m, the highest railway station in Europe. Visit the Ice Palace and Sphinx Terraces offering breathtaking views of the Aletsch Glacier, the longest glacier in the Alps. Overnight in Interlaken.
Day 03: Lucerne
Today you experience a rail trip by the Golden Pass Line from Interlaken to the city of lights- Lucerne (panoramic coach seats in 1st class only). Day at leisure to explore this lovely city or visit the Swiss Transport Museum, the IMAX Theatre or the Lion Monument on your own. Overnight in Lucerne.
Day 04: Lucerne
Today you have the option of visiting any of the spectacular mountains in the region. Spend the day visiting Mount Titlis, Mount Pilatus or Mount Rigi. You can also take the opportunity to visit Zurich which is just a 50 minute train ride away or else go to scenic Schaffhausen and the famous Rhine Falls. Overnight in Lucerne.
Day 05: Salzburg
Depart Lucerne for Salzburg via Zurich. Arrive and spend the rest of the day exploring the city of Mozart. Salzburgs lovely scenery and its carefully preserved majestic Baroque architecture combine to create a unique charm. Visit the Salzburger Dom- the city's cathedral, Mozart Square and his birthplace and residence. Overnight in Salzburg.
Day 06: Salzburg - Sound of Music Tour
Today you will go on the most unique Sound of Music tour. Relive the story of the Von trap family visiting all the places in the city and the nearby lakes and mountain area known as the Salzkammergut. The beautiful garden in Hellbrunn and the wedding church in Mondsee are a treat for all fans of the film. Overnight in Salzburg.
Day 07: Innsbruck
This morning depart for Innsbruck. Arrive and explore this little city which is hidden between snow-capped mountains. The medieval centre of the “Old Town” boasts the Imperial Palace and church , museums, a multitude of shops and and cafes, an axciting nightlife and a hotel that once housed Goethe and Mozart. With Olympic sports and spectacular scenery Innsbruck remains one of the most popular tourist attractions. Overnight in Innsbruck.
Day 08: Innsbruck - Swarovski Crystal World
This morning you have the time to explore this beautiful city by hopping on to the “sightseer” bus. Visit the Alpine Zoo, the Golden Roof Museum and experience one of the cable cars / funicular trains in Innsbruck. In the afternoon visit the sparkling world of Swarovski. The Swarovski Kristallwelten is situated in Wattens. The water spouting Giant (a remarkable huge face sculptured on top of a rock) will amaze you with its sparkling eyes. Overnight in Innsbruck.
Day 09: End of tour
Depart for Zurich or continue your stay in Austria on your own.

Booking Condition
- A non - refundable deposit of 25% of total tour cost to initiate a booking if travel date is more than 30 days from the date of booking.
- Photocopies of the passport
Cancellation Policy
- Prior to 30 days or more: Non – refundable deposit (25%of the total package)
- Between 29 - 20 days of departure: Non – refundable deposit + 25% of the Holiday Cost
- Between 19 - 14 days of departure: Non – refundable deposit + 50% of the Holiday Cost
- Between 13 - 08 days of departure: Non – refundable deposit + 75% of the Holiday Cost
- Prior to 7 days of the departure: 100% of the Holiday Cost
Note: If the entire tour is cancelled after ticket issuance then there would be 100% cancellation for airfare (base fare). Only taxes will be returned and for land 75% cancellation.
Terms & Conditions
- Standard check in time & check out time is 1400hrs and 1200hrs respectively unless specified otherwise. Requests for early check in or late check out is subject to availability in hotel. Request for guaranteed early check in requires room to be reserved from the night prior to guest’s arrival which will be charged accordingly over and above the agreed rates.
- Breakfast served in hotel would be on international menu clubbed with some Indian dishes.
- Colorful Vacations Pvt. Ltd. will process visa application for the group and will require the specified list of supporting documents for the same as per embassy regulations. However, Embassy reserves the right to grant the visa as Colorful Vacations Pvt. Ltd. will only act as a facilitator.
- Final day wise itinerary can only be modified by Colorful Vacations Pvt. Ltd. to accommodate all cost inclusions and commitments by Colorful Vacations Pvt. Ltd. in best possible way.
- It is advisable to carry at least USD 500 (or any applicable equivalent currency) per person for personal usage during the package depending on the cost inclusions. Immigration authorities might demand to show minimum USD 500 at the time of immigration from Indian nationals.
- Price quoted by Colorful Vacations Pvt. Ltd. is based on current rate of exchange, and reserves the right to amend these prices in case of any currency fluctuations and changes in various rates of exchange.
